Most people will enter and leave buildings through the same entrances, but it is easy for them to overlook other features of a building or personnel in place to ensure their safety.
Why the need? |
Floor Wardens are volunteers entrusted with the critical task of helping to ensure that fellow colleagues, visitors and all other occupants are safely evacuated from the building during an emergency.

Planning process

The fire and emergency response procedures for your facility will be used as the basis for development of a Floor Warden manual. Information will include, but not limited to:

Implement

Having a plan is the first step, but now your volunteer Floor Wardens need to be trained on their roles and response during an incident.
